Have you ever wanted to wander in the Showcase Gardens at the Yard, Garden & Patio Show without the typical crowds? Random Acts of Gardening readers are invited to enter to win an invitation for the winner and a guest to the Private Reception and Preview of the 2013 Yard, Garden & Patio Show Showcase Gardens. The private reception takes place Thursday, February 7, 5-7pm. The winners will also have an opportunity to meet Billy Derian of DIY Network’s “Extra Yardage!”, the show’s special guest. All you need to do is email me, amurphy@oan.org, with your favorite winter-interest plant by Monday, February 4, 2013, and your name will be entered into the drawing. Please use “YGP Garden Peek” in the subject line and include your phone number for notification purposes along with the common or botanical name of your favorite winter-interest plant. Two winners will be notified on Tuesday, February 5. Odds of winning are dependent upon number of entries received.
