Homeowners offered seminars on water and wildlife management
The Environmental Learning Center at Clackamas Community College will be hosting a FREE Wildlife & Water Friendly Garden Series from noon–12:45 p.m. every Friday between January 21 and March 4, 2022. The seven sessions are designed to teach homeowners how to safeguard their gardens from changing climate conditions and adopt new practices to benefit local wildlife. The series will cover a wide range of topics, including how to garden with less water, choosing the right trees for the landscape, chemical-free weed control, watershed and erosion management, and more.
The series is free and delivered via Zoom. Clackamas Water Environment Services, North Clackamas Watersheds Council, Oak Lodge Water Services, Oregon City Public Works, and Clackamas River Water have sponsored the educational event. Register here.
