Fall is in the air at area harvest festivals

It’s almost time to don the hoodies and sweaters and enjoy the fall fun in the sun at area harvest festivals.

Bauman’s Harvest Festival has more than 30 activities for kids of all ages, and the nursery has consistently been voted the #1 pumpkin patch in the Willamette Valley year-after-year.

For 38 years, the farm is transformed into a buzzing activity center in the fall with mazes, obstacle courses, giggle-worthy rides, oodles of farm animals and memories-a-plenty. You get the best bang for the buck with weekend activities.

There is no limit on the number of times you or your kids can enjoy an activity during your visit, plus the farm is dog friendly. As far as food and drinks, there is in-house pressed fresh apple cider, their famous apple cider donuts and lots of other yummy food and drink options to enjoy. And, best of all, parking is plentiful and free.

Bauman’s Harvest Festival, 12989 Howell Prairie Road N.E. in Gervais, runs 9 a.m.–5 p.m. September 19–October 31, closed Mondays.
