Do you have any plants you’re particularly proud of? Tell us about your specialties!
One of our favorite offerings is our hydrangea trees—carefully budded to create a classic “lollipop” shape on a sturdy trunk. As newer hydrangea varieties have been bred to stay smaller and more compact, they don’t naturally form a strong, tree-like structure on their own.
To make these trees possible, we grow a vigorous hydrangea as the base and then bud a dwarf variety onto the top. This lets us offer one of our very favorite hydrangeas—‘Bobo’®—in an elegant tree form.
It’s a perfect accent for a patio or any small space you’d like to beautify.
What timeless plants do you swear by that never go out of style?
As much as we pride ourselves on offering the most cutting-edge plants, there are still timeless varieties that never go out of style. One that immediately comes to mind is Syringa meyeri ‘Palibin’—a tried-and-true classic that’s been around for years. Even with all the excitement around new introductions, it remains one of our top sellers.
