The Portland General Electric Tool Exchange Program will also return to the fall show for a second year! This will take place from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Saturday, October 8. Attendees can pre-register to recycle old gas-powered lawn equipment free of charge at and also purchase new Ego Brand electric tools (available to even pick up at the show) at deep discounts. Examples include promotions like $100 off lawn mowers and $50 off trimmers, hedgers and chainsaws! Participants in the exchange will also receive free admission to the show and discounted parking (see website for details; some restrictions apply). Interested registrants can check out the terms and conditions on the PGE website for complete participation requirements. Registration space is limited.
Tiny homes by Tiny Heirloom will be on display and available to tour.
Professional remodelers will be among the exhibitors and available for consultation. Homeowners choose to remodel their current homes for a variety of reasons — to give a fresh, new energy to an old space; add more space; upgrade cabinets, counters, appliances and fixtures; create a customized new floor plan; or improve energy efficiency with new windows, doors, insulation and climate control systems. In the post-pandemic days of all-things virtual and endless researching online, the Portland Fall Home & Garden Show allows you to meet companies and experts face-to-face on neutral ground to see if they are a good fit. Remodelers will also be on the presentation stage to talk about the remodeling process, budgeting and more.
The Portland Fall Home and Garden Show is owned and produced by the Home Builders Association of Metro Portland, the producers of the NW Natural Street of Dreams and the Spring Home and Garden Show, both well-established shows with more than 40 years of history in the Portland market. The Plant Something Oregon program and the Oregon Association of Nurseries, former producers of the Yard, Garden & Patio Show, are a sponsor.
