Even though the weather has been crazy, don’t miss this year’s Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. The tulips appear to be a bit early this year with the best color expected to be the first two weeks of April, according to the organizer.
The event is March 22–May 5 at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm, 33814 S. Meridian Road, Woodburn, Oregon, and date-specific tickets go on sale March 8. Enjoy barbecue and other delicious treats available for purchase and browse the tulip market and enjoy a glass of wine at the Wooden Shoe Vineyards tasting room.
