Only open twice a year, Rare Plant Research annual open nursery and garden with Villa Catalana Cellars is Saturday and Sunday May 16 and 17. Thousands of rare plants will be on offer including olive trees, Echevarias, Cannas, caudiciforms, succulents, hardy South African bulbs and house plants. Wood fired pizza and Bert’s Barbecue will be available for lunch. Stroll the gardens and taste Villa Catalana wines. Marzs from Seattle will be selling his fabulous garden art glass and neighbor Sean Collins will be selling his rare house plants.
