Learn to propagate native plants for your garden

Are you looking to learn how to propagate native plants in your home garden?

Master the steps to propagate natives for your own garden with Propagating Native Plants: A Gardener’s Guide, a class presented by OSU Extension Service from 1−2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 11, at the Lane County Extension office, 996 Jefferson St. in Eugene, Oregon. The cost is $10 and registration is required.

The class will cover the art and science behind the process, as well as the legal responsibilities of gathering native plants/seeds. Resources will be available to help you research the different techniques and seasons that are best suited for different types of plants. Participants will go home with their own native plant propagated in class!
