Learn Tai Chi fundamentals at Lan Su Chinese Garden

Join Many Roads Martial Arts instructors and explore the ancient Chinese practice of Tai Chi, which promotes health, well-being and longevity, with weekly demonstrations every Sunday through the summer from 10–11 a.m. at the Lan Su Chinese Garden, 239 Northwest Everett St., Portland. Cost is free with price of admission.

Learn the fundamental principles of Tai Chi Chaun, focusing on posture and body alignment alongside principles of movement and meditation. Explore how Tai Chi blends health, meditation, and martial arts. These programs are suitable for all levels but will be particularly helpful for beginners of all ages.

Lan Su Chinese Garden is open daily, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Admission is free for members, $14 for adults, $13 for seniors aged 62 and older and for students aged 18 and older with ID, $11 for youth aged 6–18, and free for children aged 5 and younger. Cost is free with price of admission.
