It’s a new year, which means looking ahead. That includes looking ahead to garden season! You can clean out winter damage, scout for pests, dormant treat trees and roses, plan your vegetable garden, enjoy your houseplants and a whole lot more! (You can also plant that Amaryllis bulb from Christmas that’s still in the box.) The bottom line is, there are many things you can do to get ready for spring. Read OSU Extension’s Garden Tips for January and get in touch with your local Extension office or your local garden center if you have questions, or need help identifying a pest or issue.
