Join Lord & Schryver Conservancy for talk on Barbara Fealy

Barbara Fealy (1903–2000) was a noted American Landscape architect, known for her remarkable works that centered around Portland, Oregon and the broader Pacific Northwest.
Join the Lord & Schryver Conservancy for “Barbara Fealy and 20th Century Landscape Architecture,” presented by Mark R. Eischeid, associate professor of landscape architecture at the University of Oregon. The presentation is Sunday, November 2, with a social time from 2–3 p.m. with light refreshments, followed by a lecture and Q&A from 3–4 p.m. at the Willamette Heritage Center Dye House, 1313 Mill St. N.E. in Salem.
In 1985, Fealy was elected a fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects, making her the first woman member in Oregon. Her work has been recognized in several ways, including many which have been listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Fealy worked on landscape design for landmark Timerline Lodge, which was later named a National Historic Landmark.
