Get a leg up on those pesky weeds at November 7 workshop
November 7 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
It’s easy to get overwhelmed by weeds. It feels like you just turned your back for a week, and they’ve taken over your garden.
With so many different kinds sprouting up in your gardens and so many ways to control them, it can be difficult to pick a strategy.
Join the Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District (TSWCD) for a free workshop where participants will dive into some weed-wrangling tips to help you get those weeds under control.
Topics covered include:
- Key plant terminology
- An overview of TSWCD’s weed management strategy
- A walk through of how to manage several common weeds
Please feel free to bring in any examples of problem weeds from your yard. Copies of TSWCD’s handy Weed Watchers Guide will be available. Snacks and drinks provided!
The workshop is from 6−7:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 7 at the conservation district’s office, 7175 N.E. Evergreen Parkway, Suite 400, Hillsboro.
