Anna Perry will lecture on “Microplastics in Garden Soil” as part of the free Clackamas County Master Gardeners lecture series from 7–8 p.m. Monday, November 9 at the Milwaukie Center, 5440 S.E. Kellogg Creek Drive, Milwaukie.
Learn what microplastics are and how they can impact your garden. Microplastics are ubiquitous in the environment, yet very little is known about their impact on garden soils or garden ecology.
This talk will provide an overview of what is known about plastics in soil: where they come from, and how they might affect soils, plants and other life in the soil.
The event is free and open to the public. For details on this and other lectures, log on to ClackamasCountyMasterGardeners.org/Lectures.
