Spend a relaxing day enjoying art, music, food and the scent of all things lavender at the Willamette Valley Lavender Festival at the Chehalem Cultural Center, 415 E Sheridan St., in Newberg, Oregon from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. July 13-14.
The free annual event brings together local lavender growers, artists and musicians.
Enjoy distinctive lavender products, purchase fresh-cut lavender and lavender plants from local farms and sample a variety of foods from food trucks as well as specialty lavender-infused food and beverages.
Artists will display original paintings created “en plein air” (outdoors) during the Oregon Lavender Paint Out. The Paint Out takes place in the beautiful lavender fields of Oregon in the weeks prior to the show and attracts both amateur and professional artists from around the Northwest and beyond.
