On Saturday, June 14, the Rogerson Clematis Garden will be celebrating their 20th birthday. There will be three vendors speaking and selling plants: Roger Gossler from Gossler Farms Nursery, Lisa Graff from Lux Perennials Nursery, and Thomas Van Hevelingen from Van Hevelingen Herb Nursery.

Other special events at the Rogerson Clematis Garden celebration will continue throughout the day with Maurice Horn, clematis expert and former owner of Joy Creek Nursery, speaking on clematis species from Japan. Former garden writer for The Oregonian, Kym Pokorny will give a demonstration on putting together a drip irrigation system for containers. Then in mid-afternoon, Linda Beutler, curator of the Rogerson Clematis Garden, will give a demonstration on making bamboo structures for clematis in containers. To finish off the day, there will be a cake and ice cream birthday celebration hosted by Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation.
