It will also be your first chance to score a copy of the new Plant Something Oregon Road Map for 2024–25! \nAttendees can expect to learn gardening tips and ideas for preparing fall gardens for future spring blooms. Remodelers\, outdoor living design experts\, artisans\, and tradespeople will share solutions and inspiration during stage presentations and demonstrations running the entire duration of the show. \nThe show is presented by the Home Building Association of Greater Portland and is February 22–25\, at the Portland Expo Center. DESCRIPTION:10-Minute University™ is the trademark of short classes on essential gardening information. All presentations are free and each is accompanied by a handout. Oregon State University owns the trademark and Clackamas County Master Gardeners develop and manage the program. \nLearn to grow and enjoy many early-season vegetable varieties before warm weather crops are ready for planting. Master Gardeners Jane Collier and Sherry Sheng will focus on what can be grown in early spring when temperatures are cooler. They will discuss soil preparation\, planting techniques and seed selection. They will place special emphasis on adaptations to meet the challenges of cooler air and soil temperatures\, gardens pests\, and potential weather events such as prolong rainy seasons and earlier warm spells. \nThis online seminar is free with advanced registration.
