DESCRIPTION:Are you concerned about nitrates in your well water? Oregon State University Extension Service is offering a series of free nitrate screenings at farmers markets and other events throughout the state. \nJust bring half a cup of well water in a clean cup to be tested. Testing takes about 10 minutes. \nNitrates can cause serious health effects\, such as the rare blue-baby syndrome in infants\, according to OSU Extension.
