Al’s Garden & Home is hosting a houseplant swap from 1–3 p.m. Saturday, January 28 at all store locations (Sherwood, Wilsonville, Gresham, Woodburn). Participants can bring their pest-free plants to find them a new home and find a new plant project of their own. It’s an opportunity to meet like-minded houseplant homies/friends and chat with the experts. Community partners from Espoma and other local nurseries will be in attendance offering great advice and story swapping. Participants can select a new plant, pick up a pot, and plant it at the potting station, as well as enter to win great prizes like a 2.5-inch Philodendron ‘Pink Princess’ (valued at $25) and an Espoma package.
